    The Most Important Thing
Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to [many witnesses (over 500)]. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.  If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:13 & Romans 10:9-10)
Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)
    Then What Happens?
Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:41-47)

And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name. (Acts 22:16)
If you don't know how to pray, here is an example you can use:

Lord Jesus .. I believe You died on the cross and shed Your blood for the forgiveness of my sins .. I believe You were buried .. I believe You were raised from the dead .. for my salvation .. I call unto You Jesus .. become my Savior & Lord .. I receive You today .. I will follow You and everything Your Word teaches .. Amen.

Next, find a good church home if you do not already have one, and become water baptized. I suggest you begin reading the book of John in the New Testament.

Prayer has miraculously healed broken hearts, broken bodies and tormented souls, and it is so powerful when prayed selflessly. God listens every time we pray, to every utterance we make. We might not receive exactly what we’re asking for every time ... but He still listens, and answers according to His Will. No matter where you live, you can pray for someone and change someone’s world forevermore . . .

Giving demonstrates our faith that God, who has provided for us in the past, will continue to provide for us in the future. It’s the opposite of fear. Fearful people hang on to everything they can get. The faithful open their hands with generosity for God’s purposes.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” ~ Malachi 3:10, NIV
